The 'Tree of Invincibility' was decorated with energy-efficient garlands that will be lit by a generator every day from 17:00 to 21:00.
There are also charging stations for devices next to the generator.
The costs of installing and decorating the tree came exclusively from businesses and donors.
The city did not spend any budget funds on it.
There will be no entertainment, food courts, markets, or attractions on Sofia Square this year.
