Yesterday, Ukrainian soldiers took 19 Russian occupiers captive. This is a record for the summer period.
This was reported by Valeriy Shershenn, the spokesperson for the Joint Press Center of the Defense Forces of the Tavria direction.
“Over the past day, we have recorded the surrender of 19 individuals. This is the first time such a large number of captives has been recorded during the summer period and during the offensive operations of the ‘Tavria’ group”, said Shershenn.
According to the speaker, the record number of captives indicates the low morale and psychological state of the enemy’s personnel and their demotivation. It should be noted that on July 9, Ukrainian defenders destroyed over two enemy platoons and more than 20 units of military equipment on the Tavria direction.
