On the night of August 30, Russians carried out an attack on Ukraine using cruise missiles and strike drones. Air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed 43 hostile targets.
This information was reported by the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Russians launched 44 airborne targets onto Ukrainian territory.
28 cruise missiles of the X-101/X-555/X-55 type were fired from 11 strategic Tu-95MS aircraft, originating from the Caspian Sea and the Engels region.
16 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs were launched from the southern and northern directions (Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk).
Through the combined efforts of the Air Force and the Air Defense Forces of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, a total of 43 airborne targets within the Kyiv, Cherkasy, Odesa, and Mykolaiv regions were destroyed:
28 X-101/X-555/X-55 cruise missiles; 15 Shahed-136/131 strike UAVs.
It is worth reminding that on the night of August 30, the Russians conducted a massive attack on Kyiv using missiles and drones. Air defense forces successfully intercepted and destroyed more than 20 hostile targets.
