A new stage of road works on Saint Volodymyr Descent (Volodymyrskyi uzviz) has begun.
Dozens of road workers organized into 6 crews are working at the site every day.
During the first stage of the project, about 1600 sq meters of roads were resurfaced. More than half of the planned works have been completed. The total surface area of the road repairs is about 3000 sq meters. The project is scheduled to be completed by early July.
Major repairs are underway in the center of Kyiv on Lev Tolstoy Street. Road workers continue to upgrade a 1.2 km-long section from Tarasivska Street to Vasyl Lypkivskyi Street.
A new three-layer road surface, bicycle paths, and new sidewalks are being installed in this section. New modern lighting, anti-parking poles, and fences will also be installed.
