Russia shelled a residential area in Kherson. Multi-story buildings were damaged, and there are casualties and injuries.
This was reported by the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine, Igor Klymenko.
“Around noon, the enemy shelled a residential quarter in the heavily affected Ostriv microdistrict. A 72-year-old local resident was killed”, he said.
Russian forces on November 9 shelled the Ship district of Kherson, resulting in one person killed, one hospitalized, and two more civilians with minor injuries. A 74-year-old man was injured. During the shelling, he was in the entrance of a building. An ambulance quickly transported the man with a leg injury to the hospital.
Another Kherson resident suffered a mild concussion. Civilians received medical assistance. In addition, four multi-story buildings, an educational institution, and a church were damaged, the Minister of Internal Affairs noted.
