During the night of August 1, Russia launched an attack on Kharkiv using kamikaze drones. At least three strikes were recorded in the city center.

One of the drones destroyed two floors of a dormitory, causing a fire, and the emergency services are currently working to control it. Information about casualties is currently being clarified.
According to the Mayor of Kharkiv, the Russian forces targeted several districts of the city, with explosions reported in the Shevchenkivskyi and Saltivskyi districts.
As reported by the spokesperson of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office, Dmytro Chubenko, a man who was a security guard at a sports facility was injured by a Russian drone strike.
It is worth recalling that yesterday, the enemy launched a missile strike on a residential high-rise building in Kryvyi Rih, resulting in a fire, and the number of casualties exceeded 70 people.
