The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia, in response to the appeal of the "congress of deputies" of Transnistria, stated that in Moscow they are "carefully" considering all requests from this region.
This was reported by the Russian propaganda agency TASS.
“The protection of the interests of the residents of Transnistria, our compatriots, is one of the priorities. All requests are always carefully considered by the relevant Russian authorities”, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the aggressor country.
It is worth noting that today in the unrecognized Transnistria, a congress of local deputies of all levels was held, which had not been held for 18 years. An appeal to Russia requesting protection from “pressure from Moldova” was adopted at the congress.
At the same time, the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) believes that the appeal of the so-called “Transnistrian Moldovan Republic” to Russia for protection from Moldova was not the result that the Kremlin was expecting.
