Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, Oleksandr Lytvynenko, stated that Russia is working on the political preparation for a war against the Baltic countries.
He expressed this opinion in an interview with Interfax-Ukraine.
“Why do the Russians necessarily have to wage war in Ukraine? They are actively working on the political, and not only political, preparation for war in the Baltics. They are quite active in Moldova as well. Recently, we’ve seen an increase in activity concerning Kazakhstan”, Lytvynenko believes.
The official said that Russia could move from the mobilization phase back to a peaceful economy, but only if there is a change in leadership.
