Russian military struck Odesa with a missile while the Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis, was visiting there.

This was reported by the Greek publication Protothema.

The article suggests that the target of the Russian military was the convoy of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky. The explosion occurred 150 meters away from where the Greek delegation led by Mitsotakis was staying. Sources of the publication reported that no one from the Greek delegation was injured.

“There are no security problems for the Prime Minister and the Greek delegation”, said official government sources.

“We are all fine”, said Greek State Minister Stavros Papastavrou.

The powerful explosion in Odesa occurred shortly before the meeting of the Prime Minister of Greece with the President of Ukraine. Air alarm was immediately declared in the region.
