On December 26, Russian occupiers attacked the railway station in Kherson. An evacuation train and 140 people waiting for it came under fire.

“Russian strike on the railway station. Evacuation train”, he said.
According to “Ukrzaliznytsia”, as a result of the shelling of Kherson, the station and a moving train were damaged. Several employees are known to be injured. Passengers have taken shelter.
At the same time, “Ukrzaliznytsia” clarified that they want to transfer people to buses on the square in front of the station to Mykolaiv when the situation stabilizes. Reserve cars are already being prepared to take over 100 passengers to a safe place.
Later, the Ministry of Internal Affairs reported that as a result of the shelling of the station, a police lieutenant was killed. Two more police officers are in the hospital with shrapnel wounds.
In total, about 140 civilians were waiting for the departure of the evacuation train at the railway station when the Russian Federation began mass shelling of the city.
