During the night of November 1, Russian occupiers targeted Poltava region with "Shahed" drones, resulting in a fire at an oil refinery in Kremenchuk.

This was reported by the head of Poltava Regional State Administration, Philip Pronin.

“Tonight, the enemy repeatedly attacked Poltava region with UAVs. The air raid lasted for over four hours. Unfortunately, there was a direct hit on an oil refinery in Kremenchuk, resulting in a fire that was extinguished by rescuers. The situation is under control”, he stated.

According to Pronin, there have been no reported casualties at this time, and information regarding any structural damage is being assessed.

Currently, the facility is not operational, and all relevant services are working at the scene.

The head of the Regional State Administration also added that defenders were able to land some of the enemy drones.
