In the morning of March 13, Russian drones attacked Sumy. The air defense forces managed to shoot down one of them, but one strike hit the entrance of a residential building.

Deputy head of the Sumy District Council, Volodymyr Bytsak, revealed this on KYIV24 TV.

“During the nighttime attack in Sumy, one ‘Shahed’ drone was shot down, while another hit the entrance of a residential building. The entrance has been completely destroyed,” he said.

Volodymyr Bytsak noted that so far, 10 people have been rescued from the rubble, including 5 children.

“Ten people have been evacuated from the rubble, 8 of them are injured. The rubble is still being cleared. There is information about possible casualties, but there is no official confirmation yet. Five children were also rescued from the rubble,” he said.
