The Russian occupiers in Donetsk region have decided to evict an entire village in order to establish a military base there.

This was reported by the advisor to the Mayor of Mariupol, Petro Andryushenko, on his Telegram channel.

The village is located in a forest and near the main location of the Russian troops in Nikolske.

“Near the village of Lisne, which is located in the forest right next to Nikolske, it is very convenient for accommodating the military. Firstly, it’s in the middle of the forest away from prying eyes. Secondly, it’s close to the main location of the occupiers in Nikolske”, said the advisor.

Andryushenko also stated that with the help of a local collaborator, the occupiers have started to evict the residents of the village.

“Formally, the pretext is the lack of confirmation of property ownership and identity. This is because there are no house books, which burned down in the forestry office in Mariupol”, added Andryushenko.

According to his information, only seven families remain, mostly elderly residents who have lived in the village for a long time. There are also several families who moved there from Mariupol.

As previously reported, the occupiers in Kherson region are shelling infrastructure that is helping the region to recover.
