In the temporarily occupied territories of Kherson region, Russians are conducting mobilization of the local population into their armed forces.
This information is reported by the Center for National Resistance (CNR).
Cases of conscription specifically for mobilization have been documented in Kherson. This occurred after locals visited fake military registration offices to confirm their information. All men in the region are required to “confirm their information”.
CNR notes that the occupiers had previously established so-called “federal commissariats” in both Kherson and Zaporizhia region.
It should be noted that mobilizing residents of the occupied territories constitutes a gross violation of international law and indicates Moscow’s intention to harm Ukrainians. Previously, we reported that Russia initiated forced mobilization of the local population in the temporarily occupied territories of Zaporizhia region.
