On the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region, Russians are planning to conduct so-called "medical examinations" of children in order to take them to the territory of Russia.

This was reported by the Center for National Resistance.

“The occupiers have planned to conduct new ‘medical examinations’ for children from the temporarily occupied Luhansk region in order to prepare them for further transportation to the territory of the Russian Federation”, the statement says.

As noted by the Center for National Resistance, these examinations are a fiction, and under the guise of them, children are later taken to Russia.

“No actual medical examinations are being conducted, but fictional diagnoses are assigned to children and this is used to transport them ‘for treatment’ to medical institutions in the Russian Federation”, explained the Center for National Resistance.

The Russian government allocated 1.4 million rubles last year for the forcible deportation of Ukrainian children from the temporarily occupied territories.

It should be recalled that on April 27, the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe adopted a resolution condemning the deportation of Ukrainians to Russia. The PACE stated that deportation is an indication of genocide under international law.
