Russian military have intensified efforts to search for Ukrainian underground fighters in the occupied Crimea.

This was reported by the Center for National Resistance.

“In the temporarily occupied peninsula of Crimea, the enemy continues to intensify measures to identify members of the Ukrainian underground. The occupiers have conducted searches of apartments of those whom they suspect of disloyalty. Searches were even conducted without the presence of the owners”, the report said.

According to CNR data, there have also been more frequent cases of selective checks on the streets in Crimea.

As previously reported, the head of the press center of the “South” Operation Natalia Humenyuk announced a new “cotton” season in Crimea. Russian propagandists use the word “hlopok” (clap) instead of “explosion”  to downplay the significance of such events, a word which also means cotton. This has led to the creation of a meme during the Russian-Ukrainian war – the cotton means explosion.
