During the night of October 23, Russians attacked the Odesa region with "shahed" drones, nine of which were shot down by the air defense forces.

This information was reported by the Southern Defense Forces.

The Russian attack on this night lasted for over 3.5 hours.

“The enemy deployed kamikaze drones from the Crimean Cape Chauda towards the port infrastructure of Odesa. Most of their strikes came from the sea, where they were intercepted by air defense units”, the statement reads.

As mentioned in the report, nine UAVs were downed in the Odesa region, with one more in Vinnytsia. Additionally, as a result of the debris from a downed drone, there was damage to the roof of a warehouse building in the port infrastructure area of Odesa district. Firefighters quickly managed to extinguish the fire, and there were no casualties.
