On the night of September 14, Russian forces launched an attack on Ukraine using 22 "Shahed" drones. Air defense forces managed to destroy 17 of these unmanned aerial vehicles.
This information has been reported by the Ukrainian Air Force.
“On the night of September 14, 2023, from 21:00 to 02:30, Russian occupiers attacked Ukraine with several groups of combat UAVs of the ‘Shahed-136/131’ type from three directions: Cape Chauda – Crimea; Yeysk, Kursk – Russian Federation”, the report states.
In total, 22 “Shahed” drones were launched towards the Mykolaiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Sumy regions. As noted, air defense forces successfully eliminated 17 out of the 22 enemy combat UAVs of the Shahed-136/131 type.
It is worth recalling that on the night of August 13, Russia attacked the Odesa region with 32 kamikaze drones, resulting in damage to port and other civilian infrastructure. As a result of the attack, three individuals in critical condition and three in a serious condition were transported to the hospital, where they are receiving all necessary medical assistance.
