Occupiers are holding reserves on the Avdiivka direction because they think the Ukrainian Armed Forces will launch the main attack on Donetsk.
This was reported on Kyiv24 by the head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration, Vitaliy Barabash.
“On the Avdiivka direction, the enemy is holding reserves. They believe that our main strike will be on Donetsk. They have significant reserves in Makiivka and Donetsk. Yasinuvata currently has fewer reserves because it is close to the front line. They are trying to reclaim what was lost around Avdiivka a few weeks ago. They are attempting to deploy a lot of forces, including marine infantry. Moreover, there are currently many “spetsury” (special forces) in Donetsk and Luhansk regions”, he said.
Recall that the Defense Forces have regained Rivnopil in Donetsk region under control.
