Russian military forces are not ceasing their assaults in the vicinity of Avdiivka, despite staggering casualties in both personnel and equipment.
This information was reported by Vitaliy Barabash, the head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration.
He revealed that the city has witnessed a high number of shelling and bombardments.
“The gunfire and battles don’t subside around the clock. Russians deploy large forces with infantry and armored vehicles, and their losses are staggering. However, this doesn’t deter them; the assaults persist. They push forward relentlessly, and even after suffering losses, they return. There are a great number of them”, he said.
The head of the Avdiivka City Military Administration added that, at the same time, the Russians have reduced the number of armored vehicles during their advances due to increased humidity in the air.
It’s worth noting that earlier, Yuriy Fedorenko, a member of the Kyiv City Council, advisor to the Defense Committee of the Verkhovna Rada, and the commander of a unit specializing in Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Complexes, Achilles, within the 92nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, disclosed that the Russians near Avdiivka are suffering significant losses. The General Staff’s reports only provide officially recorded destruction figures, while in reality, the numbers are much higher.
