Occupiers dropped an FAB-250 bombs on Toretsk, one of which hit a local gas station, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old worker.
This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.
“According to the investigation, on May 29, 2023, around 11:30 a.m., Russian armed forces once again shelled the city of Toretsk, presumably using FAB-250. One of the aerial bombs hit a local gas station, resulting in the death of a 28-year-old worker. Additionally, according to preliminary information, 8 civilians suffered injuries of varying degrees of severity”, the statement reads.
They clarified that the second bomb hit an administrative building. A local resident sustained bodily injuries from the explosion. The bank building, educational institution, and vehicles were also damaged. Rescuers and law enforcement officers are currently working at the scene. The final number of casualties is yet to be determined. Prosecutors continue to take all possible and necessary measures to document the war crimes committed by representatives of the Russian armed forces.
Under the procedural guidance of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been initiated in a criminal case regarding the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
