Russian occupiers launched a drone kamikaze attack on Odessa. Several "martyr" drones were intercepted by air defense forces.

This was reported by the representative of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army “South”, Sergiy Bratchuk.

“At midnight, at 3 hours and 53 minutes, the air raid siren sounded, including in Odessa region. The enemy attacked with kamikaze drones in the southern part of the region. Several ‘martyr’ drones were intercepted by air defense forces, but unfortunately, some hits were made”, the statement said.

According to Bratchuk, Russians continue to target civilian objects and Ukrainian grain.

As clarified by the “South” operational command, the drone attack with “Shahed-136” was aimed at the port infrastructure of the Danube. As a result of the night attack, six people were injured. Four of the injured were hospitalized to the regional hospital, one of whom is in a moderate to severe condition, closer to critical. Doctors managed to stabilize the patient. The other three have minor shrapnel wounds and contusions. All of them received full medical assistance.

Recall that on July 23, the Russians attacked Odessa with 19 missiles of various types. As a result of the strike, the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Cathedral was destroyed. It is known that during the night of July 23, the Russian invaders damaged 25 architectural landmarks in the historical center of Odessa, which is under UNESCO protection.
