During the night of May 19, the Ukrainian Air Force destroyed 19 out of 22 Russian "Shahed" UAVs and 3 out of 6 "Kalibr" missiles launched by the occupiers towards Ukraine.
This was reportedby the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“During this night attack, three cruise missiles and 16 strike drones were destroyed by the forces and means of air defense of the air commands ‘Center,’ ‘West,’ and ‘South’ of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine”, the statement said.
The occupiers attacked Ukraine from the northern and southeast directions using the “Shahed-136/131” strike drones and “Kalibr” cruise missiles from ships in the Black Sea. In total, launches of 22 “Shahed” UAVs and six “Kalibr” missiles were recorded.
As reported, all aerial targets moving towards Kyiv were destroyed by the forces and means of the Ukrainian air defense.
