Russian invaders struck one of the Ukrainian thermal power stations, causing damage to the facility.

This was reported by DTEK.

The occupiers targeted the TPS in the evening on Tuesday, November 7. The thermal power station is located in a front-line area.

According to DTEK, there were no casualties as a result of the hostile attack. However, the equipment at the facility has been damaged. Power engineers are making every effort to mitigate the consequences of the shelling.

It’s worth noting that Russian terrorists have resumed targeting energy facilities in Ukraine after nearly a six-month pause. In the early autumn, due to Russian shelling, the power grid in Kyiv, Zhytomyr, and Khmelnytskyi regions was damaged.

In the evening of October 30, Russian forces shelled another DTEK thermal power station in the front-line region, leaving one of the settlements in Donetsk region without electricity.
