On the morning of May 23, Russian forces launched a massive missile strike on the city of Kharkiv. More than ten explosions were reported.

This was reported by the National Police.

“The number of dead has risen to seven”, the statement said.

The occupiers hit Kharkiv with S-300 or S-400 missiles, according to the Kharkiv regional police. They reported 13 injured.

Two more people are possibly trapped under the rubble. The search for the victims is ongoing.

“Russian terrorists are taking advantage of the fact that Ukraine still lacks adequate air defense and a reliable capability to destroy terrorist launchers exactly where they are located – near our borders”, the police added.

The occupiers struck the palette workshop of the “Factor Druk” printing house of the Vivat publishing house.

During the attack, there were over 50 employees in the building. Six of them were killed, and another 16 were injured, according to the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor’s Office.

The Russians targeted the Vivat printing house. This information was confirmed by the general director of the publishing house, Yuliya Orlova.

In addition, in Lyubotyn, Kharkiv district, the occupiers hit the central part of the city, damaging a park, cars, and shops.

A total of about 15 missile strikes were recorded. The attacks were carried out from the territory of the Belgorod region of the Russian Federation.
