Russian forces struck Mykolaiv with two "Kalibr" missiles on May 16 at 23:08. One woman was injured.
The Mayor of Mykolaiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, reported fires following the explosions. Later, the head of the region, Vitaliy Kim, clarifiedthat the fires occurred in an open area and were subsequently contained. A shopping center and a car dealership were partially destroyed.
The blast wave damaged private houses and shops. Additionally, there were impacts on industrial infrastructure. Currently, one injured person is known. An air alarm was declared from 23:08 to 00:12, during which the strike occurred.
As previously reported, Russians shelled Podoly in the Kharkiv region with artillery. A fire broke out in an area of 4 square meters as a result of the shelling. Civilians extinguished the fire using improvised means. Another residential building in a different locality was also damaged.
