On the night of August 23, Russian forces attacked the Odessa region with kamikaze drones, hitting grain storage facilities and a production-transshipment complex.
This was reported by the head of the Odessa Regional Military Administration, Oleh Kiper.
“During this night, Russian terrorists attacked the southern part of the Odessa region with kamikaze drones for three hours. The enemy’s target is the civilian infrastructure of the region”, the statement said.
According to Kiper, during the nighttime attack, air defense forces destroyed 9 “Shahed-136/131” drones.
“Unfortunately, there were hits on production-transshipment complexes, where a fire broke out, covering an area of 700 square meters. As of 6 a.m., the fire has been localized. Among the damages are grain storage facilities”, he added.
