Due to the artillery shelling by Russian forces, an 85-year-old woman was killed in the village of Mykilske in Kherson region.

This was reported by the head of the Regional State Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin.

“The Russian army has killed an 85-year-old resident of the village of Mykilske. At around 12:00, the occupiers launched an artillery strike on the settlement. One of the shells hit the courtyard of the elderly woman”, Prokudin stated.

He added that the doctors who arrived at the scene of the tragedy could only confirm her death. The woman sustained injuries incompatible with life.

Recall that on July 11, Russians launched a hail of artillery fire on Sofiyivka in Kherson region, resulting in the death of a woman and the injury of a man.
