On the evening of January 2, the Russians carried out another missile attack on the city of Kharkiv. As a result of the shelling, a school building in the Osnovianskyi district was damaged.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synegubov.
According to the announcement, the school building in the Osnovianskyi district was affected.
As of now, fortunately, it is reported that there were no casualties. It is claimed that at the site of the explosion, a crater with a diameter of about ten meters has formed, filled with water. Rescuers assume that the missile strike damaged an underground water pipeline.
Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov added that the projectile exploded near a residential building, causing shattered windows.
“This is another terrorist shelling of Kharkiv and an attempt to intimidate peaceful residents”, he emphasized.
Synegubov noted that according to preliminary data, the occupiers hit Kharkiv with S-300 missiles.
