A 7-year-old girl has been hospitalized.

This information is reported by the Kherson Regional State Administration (OVGA).

“Due to today’s rocket shelling by the occupiers in the central part of Kherson, a child has been injured. A 7-year-old girl was hit by enemy fire inside an apartment. She has injuries to her back, arms, and legs. The injured child has been hospitalized in moderate condition and is receiving necessary medical assistance”, the statement reads.

According to their information, details about other casualties are being clarified. However, earlier, the Office of the Prosecutor General stated that three civilians were injured as a result of the shelling.

“According to the investigation, on August 24, around 11:00 AM, Russian military once again shelled the city of Kherson. One of the shells hit the roof of a private house in the city center. Currently, we know about three injured civilians, including a minor child. The information is being clarified”, law enforcement officials reported.

It is also known that a pre-trial investigation has been launched under criminal proceedings for the violation of laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). Recall that the enemy shelled the Kherson region during the night.
