Ukrainian military officials are refuting claims by Russian propagandists that an attack was carried out on a training ground in Selydove, Donetsk Oblast, where up to 1,500 Ukrainian Armed Forces personnel were allegedly present.
This was stated by the commander of the Joint Forces Operation “Tavria,” Oleksandr Tarnavsky.
Commander Tarnavsky revealed that propagandists had launched a disinformation campaign claiming losses of Ukrainian Armed Forces near Selydove.
Russians fabricated that the personnel were intended for a counterattack in the Avdiivka area.
“This is Russian IPSO (information-psychological special operation)”, he announced.
Tarnavsky added that this is an attempt by the enemy to divert attention from their daily colossal losses on the Tavria direction. They amounted to 645 individuals in just one day on February 12, and for the previous week, they totaled 2,947 individuals.
