The Russian authorities are conducting an "emergency evacuation" of nuclear warheads from a storage facility located in the Belgorod region, against the backdrop of the RDK operation and the "Freedom of Russia" movement.

This was announced by Andrey Yusov, representative of the Main Intelligence Directorate, during a news telethon.

According to him, there is “a lot of truth” in the information about the evacuation from the border settlements of the Belgorod region and the “destruction of a Russian Mi-8” in the region.

“There is even additional information about evacuation measures. In emergency mode, the facility “Belgorod-22,” which is a storage facility for nuclear warheads, is also being evacuated by the Russians from the area near Grayvoron”, he said.

Yusov reiterated that Ukraine has no relation to the events taking place in the Belgorod region of Russia, and that the local anti-Putin forces are leading the fight there.

It should be noted that from today, a “counter-terrorism operation” regime has been introduced in the Belgorod region of Russia due to the so-called “Freedom of Russia” raid and the Russian Volunteer Corps. It is also known that six people were injured as a result of the raid.

Earlier, Mykhailo Podoliak, advisor to the Head of the Presidential Office, stated that Ukraine is monitoring the operation of the “Russian Volunteer Corps” in the Belgorod region, but it has no direct involvement in it.
