If three foreign ships were able to bypass the maritime blockade, then Russia's threats turned out to be a bluff.

This was stated by military observer and reserve major Oleksiy Hetman in an interview with KYIV24.

“A maritime blockade, if properly established, is almost impossible to break through. Especially a maritime blockade against civilian vessels, it is impossible to overcome. Military ships have everything necessary to stop, and if necessary, sink civilian vessels if it is a blockade. So, if ships under the flags of Turkey, Georgia, and Israel allegedly passed through the blockade, one can consider that these talks by Russia about the blockade were a test to see if civilian ships would be afraid to sail with grain or not”, he said.

It should be recalled that on August 1, three foreign ships passed through the Russian blockade under the supervision of NATO aircraft and arrived at one of the Ukrainian grain ports in the Danube Delta.
