Since the beginning of the year, 2,800 trees, over 22,000 bushes and over 5 million flowers have been planted in Kyiv

In addition, the efforts of specialists managed to treat 250 diseased trees.

This was reported by the Kyiv City State Administration.

The report noted that since the beginning of the year, over 2,800 trees, almost 22,300 bushes and over 5 million flowers have been planted in parks and squares of the capital. The Kyiv Zelenbud Cooperative workers and the district CE maintenance of green spaces, which are part of it, updated the green zones with new plantings.

Such trees as large-sized saplings of willow, oak, sycamore, mountain ash, robinia pseudo acacia, as well as thuja and sod bushes were planted. In addition, the efforts of specialists managed to treat 250 diseased trees.

Also, taking care of the recreation areas, the employees of the district CE maintenance of green spaces repaired elements on 207 children’s and 90 sports grounds. Another 1,857 benches were renewed in parks and squares. From the green areas of the city, 133 landfills were eliminated, and more than 1,800 wooden posts were installed, preventing cars from parking on the lawn.
