Since the beginning of the year, Russia has launched over 330 missiles of various types and approximately 600 combat drones at cities in Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelensky. In response to such pressure, Ukraine is building a strong air defense shield with its partners.

Zelensky wrote this on social media X.

“Russia has launched over 330 missiles of various types and approximately 600 combat drones at Ukrainian cities since the beginning of the year. To withstand such terrorist pressure, a sufficiently strong air shield is required. And this is the type of air shield we are building with our partners.”, – he announced.

These attacks have caused significant infrastructure damage and civilian casualties. Zelensky emphasized that control over the sky is critical for ensuring safety on the ground.

“Air defense and electronic warfare are our top priorities. Russian terror must be defeated—this is achievable”, stated the head of state.
