Eight temporary accommodation centers for refugees in Warsaw have provided shelter to 2,000 people.
Around 2,500 persons who were evacuated by special trains are now staying with friends, relatives, or families that have expressed their willingness to accommodate refugees.
Ukrainians have access to healthcare, psychological counseling, and the job market. Ukrainian children have access to education.
Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion, Warsaw has become a logistics hub for collecting, storing, and transferring humanitarian aid to Kyiv from other cities. Over 3,500 tons of humanitarian aid have been delivered to Kyiv by the special trains that evacuated citizens and returned with supplies.
