The Air Force has denied the downing of the ballistic missile " Kinzhal" over the capital on the night of May 4.

“I have already denied it a thousand times, you should have seen it yesterday. There was a possibility of use, but no ballistic missiles were detected. What some military administrators are saying, they have already received reprimands for it”, said Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ignat.
Earlier, the “Defense Express” publication reported that it had received a photo of the debris of a missile shot down over Kyiv on May 4 from its own sources. According to the publication’s authors, the debris belongs to the Russian “Kinzhal” missile.
Before that, Kyiv City Military Administration reported that on the night of May 4, Kyiv was attacked by kamikaze drones and possibly ballistic missiles, and all targets were destroyed.
At the same time, the Air Force summary for that day indicated that 18 out of 24 drones were shot down over Ukraine, but there was no information about any missile strikes.
Later, the Air Force declined to comment and advised to seek “additional relevant, up-to-date, and reliable information that the enemy will use in the war against Ukraine” from the Armed Forces of Ukraine and “Defense Express”.
