According to the commander of the Ground Forces, the last few days have shown that the Ukrainian military can advance and destroy the enemy even in extremely difficult conditions.
This was announcedby the commander of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant General Oleksandr Syrskyi, as reported by the Military Media Center.
“We are fighting with fewer resources than the enemy. Nevertheless, we manage to disrupt their plans. All thanks to our soldiers who are fighting the aggressor, overcoming the highest limit of human capabilities”, the commander noted, adding that “however, this is only a partial success. And it should be perceived as such. The operation to defend Bakhmut continues”.
“All necessary decisions for defense have been made. We have worked out all possible scenarios with commanders directly on the battlefield”, Syrskyi emphasized.
It should be reminded that on May 12, during a briefing at the headquarters of the Commander-in-Chief, General Syrskyi reported on the partial recapture of Bakhmut.
