The Main Intelligence Directorate struck a high-speed boat of Russian occupiers in temporarily occupied Crimea using the maritime drone "Magura V5."
The Main Intelligence Directorate reported that the maritime drone attack occurred in the area of Vuzka Bay (Chornomorske district) on the night of May 6th.
As a result of the operation by the GUR unit “Group 13,” the high-speed boat of Russian occupiers was destroyed by the strike maritime drone “Magura V5.”
Night drone attack on Crimea
After a long hiatus, the occupiers in Crimea again complained about attacks by maritime drones. They claimed that this night, near the western coast of the peninsula, they allegedly managed to destroy up to 5 unmanned boats, which they claim “belong to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.” Interestingly, the enemy also confirmed information that the attack took place in the area of the settlement Chornomorske.
It’s worth noting that the maritime unmanned drones “Magura V5” have already sunk several Russian ships. Thanks to them, the following have been destroyed:
- reconnaissance ship “Ivan Khurs,”
- missile boat “Ivanovets,”
- large landing ship “Caesar Kunikov,”
- patrol ship project 22160 “Sergey Kotov,”
- and damaged other vessels of the Russian Black Sea Fleet.
