Army General and former employee of Ukraine's Foreign Intelligence Service, Mykola Malomuzh, believes that yesterday's explosions in Moscow were aimed at increasing mobilization measures in Russia.
He said this on the “Kyiv” TV channel.
“There was a fake strike there, which is a reason for active ballistic actions. Nobody believes it. All countries see that it is absurd, and so do the Russians. But it is aimed at them. The effect is aimed at the Russian population, at mobilization, at supporting Putin, who is losing authority on the fronts of Ukraine”, Malomuzh said.
“Putin and his team are frightened. They have created hundreds of models of control and dozens of models for shooting down aircraft near the Kremlin and the residence. The picture is shown perfectly. How it should be for the Russians. And they demonstrate it as a terrorist attack, although they kill our people directly every day”, he explained.
It should be recalled that on May 3, the Administration of the President of the Russian Federation announced that Ukraine attempted to attack the Kremlin with UAVs. Propagandists reported that the Kremlin was attacked with drones.
In Russia, this was called a terrorist act, and they said that they reserve the right to take measures in response “there and then, where and when they deem necessary”.
Later, the spokesperson for President Zelensky, Serhiy Nikiforov, said that Ukraine has no information about the so-called night attacks on the Kremlin.
Also the advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podoliak, emphasized that Ukraine is conducting exclusively a defensive war and is not attacking objects on Russian territory, since this does not solve any military task but gives Russia grounds to justify its attacks on civilians.
