According to the Russian security agency, Yuriy Denisov, a Ukrainian citizen who managed to leave Russia, conspired with Daria Trepova to plan the murder of the "war correspondent" Tatarsky.
The announcement was made by a Telegram channel of a Russian propaganda agency.
As per the FSB’s version of events, Denisov used an express delivery service to pass a disguised explosive device, hidden as a plaster bust of Tatarsky, to Trepova in Moscow. In February 2023, Denisov supposedly arrived in Moscow’s region from Kyiv through Latvia to gather information about Tatarsky.
To do this, he bought a car and rented an apartment close to Tatarsky’s residence, as claimed by the FSB.
On April 3, after the attack, Denisov flew out of Russia in transit through Armenia to Turkey, according to the FSB. They added that the process of declaring Denisov wanted internationally has begun.
As is known, an explosion occurred at a cafe owned by Prigozhin in St. Petersburg. Propagandist Vladlen Tatarsky died, and six others were injured due to the explosion. A Russian woman named Daria Trepova has been arrested on suspicion of the murder of Tatarsky.
