Western allies should increase assistance to Ukraine as Russian dictator Vladimir Putin poses a very serious threat to European countries.

This was reportedby Polskie Radio, citing the words of Polish Foreign Minister Radosław Sikorski.

“Putin threatened Poland, Latvia, and Finland. And when he threatens a country, he does it absolutely seriously”, he said.

The Polish Foreign Minister emphasized that Western countries did not often take Putin’s statements seriously. As a result, there is information about Russian tanks in Belarus and nuclear weapons that the Kremlin has moved there.

“Now Russian tanks are in Belarus, Russia has also moved nuclear weapons there, and nuclear weapons near Kaliningrad, Iskander missiles, can reach Berlin. In Poland, we feel the threat of the physical presence of Russian tanks 250 km from our capital. I am always surprised that this topic is not discussed in Germany”, Sikorski emphasized.

The head of the Polish Ministry of Foreign Affairs emphasizes the importance of swift action and operational assistance to Ukraine, as it is under constant pressure from Russia.

“The West is twenty times economically stronger. But Russia leads in the production of ammunition. We must mobilize our forces. If the Americans refuse to help, we will face a serious dilemma: either replace America, that is, double our efforts, or allow Putin to conquer Ukraine”, he concluded.
