The Kyiv City Council renamed more than 40 capital streets, alleys and squares whose names were previously associated with Russia and the Soviet past

Previously, more than 140 places whose names were associated with the aggressor country had been renamed.

New names were chosen by Kyiv citizens.

296 objects were submitted for electronic voting.

Kyiv residents had the opportunity to vote for the names they preferred in the Kyiv Digital app.

The names that received the most support were sent to the assembly hall of the Kyiv Council to be voted on.
