According to the decision of the Kyiv Defense Council, from August 1, on-ground public transport in the capital won’t operate for the duration of the air raid sirens.
The Kyiv City Express train will carry out transportation during air raid sirens in the capital. The press service of Kyiv City Express reports about this in Telegram.
“Buses, trolleybuses, trams and minibuses will stop operation during air raid sirens. The metro was stopping before that… But the Kyiv electric train will not” – the message reads.
According to the decision of the Kyiv Defense Council, from August 1 on-ground public transport in the capital will stop for the duration of air raid sirens, passengers must leave the cabin and go to the nearest shelter.
The Metro will not carry out transportation on ground sections and will close the operation of open-type stations during the air alert.
