During November-December 2023, the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine implemented seven more NATO standards
This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
“Among them are standards related to navigation-hydrographic support, conduct of combat operations, quality of fuel and lubricants, and the preparation of the Naval Forces for communication”, the statement said.
The Ministry reminded that a total of 301 NATO standards have been implemented in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine: 181 within the framework of the Ukraine-NATO Partnership Goals (Alliance’s priority standards) and 116 on an initiative basis, implemented by Ukraine outside the Partnership Goals. In total, NATO has 1135 standards in effect, and 26.5% have already been implemented in the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
It was also previously reported that starting from April 1, 2024, the Ministry of Defense will procure products for servicemen according to new rules: based on a catalog of 409 food items for professionally composed menus, considering average prices, with separate tenders for delivery.
