As a result of the Russian drone strike in Odesa on March 2nd, 20 people were affected, not 8 as previously known.

This was reported by the Department of Health of the Odesa Regional State Administration.

In total, 20 people were affected, including 1 pregnant woman. Three people remain hospitalized. Two individuals are in the intensive care unit in critical condition, and one person with moderate severity injuries is receiving treatment in the trauma department. Medical personnel are providing the necessary medical assistance to the injured.

As a result of the Russian drone hitting a multi-story residential building on March 2nd, 2024, 12 people died, including 5 children: 4-month-old Timofiy, 7-month-old Liza, 3-year-old Mark, 8-year-old Zlata, and Sergiy.

Recall that on the night of March 2nd, Russian invaders attacked Odesa with strike drones. A drone hit a multi-story residential building in a residential area, destroying part of the entrance with 18 apartments.

On March 3rd, mourning was declared in Odesa and the region for those killed in the Russian attack.

Natalia Humeniuk, the head of the Unified Coordination Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces, stated that Russia may have used modified drones with enhanced warheads, resulting in extensive damage to the residential building in Odesa.
