Ukraine has prepared a Fast Recovery Plan, which provides for the reconstruction of housing and social infrastructure facilities destroyed as a result of the war in a short term.
Deputy head of the Office of the President, Kyrylo Tymoshenko announced this.
This plan was developed by the “Great Construction” project office and regional military administrations. It provides for the complete restoration of housing in the de-occupied territories and the reconstruction of some schools, kindergartens, hospitals and housing and communal services facilities.
“The essence of the plan is to restore the social infrastructure as soon as possible, taking into account the best global practices and technologies,” Tymoshenko said.
According to him, the budget of the plan is almost 17.4 billion dollars. These funds are needed to restore 5,909 destroyed high-rise and 31,034 private houses, 259 schools, 205 kindergartens, 170 medical institutions, and 2,070 housing and communal services facilities.
An online platform has already been developed, which displays all infrastructure damage in Ukraine. It is available only for internal use by the presidential team, but access is planned to be extended to partners.
“The platform enables the analysis of the following options: geodata about each damaged unit, its location, size, type (e.g., apartment building, private, hospital, school, kindergarten, etc.) and the date when the damage occurred. Currently information of 69,000 destroyed units is available on the platform,” Tymoshenko said.
He added that they are currently working on a long-term plan for the recovery of Ukraine.
