All proceeds will transfer to charity.

A painting “Ukrainian Dream” by 11-year-old Volhynia girl Sofia Kravchuk, which became the illustration of a new postage stamp, was sold at an auction for 56,000 UAH. The brother of young artist Gennadiy Patievich said it to “Ukrinform”.

“We put Sofiyka’s work at a charity auction through Prozorro on June 30, and the bidding started yesterday at 2:00 p.m. The initial price of the painting was UAH 20,000 and it was sold for UAH 56,000. There were three bidders. We expected to sell at a higher price, but probably more attention should have been paid to the promotion and promotion of the auction itself,” said Patievich.

The family plans to donate the money from the sale of the painting to Marta Levchenko’s “I am the future of Ukraine” foundation, which helps children in the “City of Kidness” in Chernivtsi.

On June 28, Ukrposhta launched a new “Ukrainian Mriya” postage stamp dedicated to the world’s largest AN-225 “Mriya” aircraft, which was destroyed by the Russians at the Hostomel airfield. The sketch of the “Ukrainian Dream” stamp belongs to 11-year-old Sofia Kravchuk from the small town of Luboml in Volyn.
