The working visit of the President of Hungary, Katalin Novak, took place on the eve of the third International Crimea Platform Summit.
This was reported by the Transcarpathian Regional State Administration.
Katalin Novak met with the leadership of the Regional State Administration, the Regional Council, Berehove, and the district. Together, they discussed the results and prospects of enhancing cross-border cooperation. They touched upon matters related to assisting internally displaced persons (IDPs), refugees, organizing recreational activities for children in various parts of Hungary, as well as ecological, social, educational, and cultural initiatives.
“We value our collaboration with partners regarding the protection of Ukrainians who have been forced to leave their homes due to the war. We are grateful to Hungary and its citizens for providing humanitarian assistance to our country”, said Acting Head of the Regional State Administration, Myroslav Biletsky.
By the way, Katalin Novak will also meet with religious, political, and cultural figures in Transcarpathia.
