Russian aggressors in Bakhmut have begun to employ scorched earth tactics.
This was reported by Ukrainian military member Petro Voloshchenko, also known as “Stone”.
“They began to use aviation. They started directing high-powered guided bombs. The impact of such a flying bomb destroys the building to the basement. They have reached the area where our troops are well entrenched and cannot take it by storm. Therefore, they began resorting to carpet bombing. These are terrible things, they interfere with their own forces there as well. They do not consider anything, because they have deadlines”, the military member noted.
Commander of the Ukrainian Ground Forces Оlexander Sirsky stated that the enemy has resorted to the so-called “Syrian” tactic of scorched earth. They destroy buildings and positions with aviation strikes and artillery fire. However, the defense of Bakhmut continues, the situation is difficult but under control.
